This recipe uses real chocolate to give you creamy taste. We use a Thermomix, but you can do it on a hob by continually stirring and using a food thermometer.
You can use any chocolate, experiment with different brands and percentages. You could also try different flavours, like orange. Be aware that if you use milk chocolate, it might taste too sweet, you could also do half milk and half dark to taste. We like dark chocolate, 64% cocoa from E Wedel.
This makes a portion for one person in a 350ml mug. You might need to reduce the proportions if your mugs are smaller. Multiple the recipe by the number of people, but remember it will take longer to heat up.

Add some real spray cream (like Président Crème Fouettée) and grate some chocolate on top
As well as trying different chocolates, you could also swap the whole milk and cream for only half-milk to save a few calories.
You could also add marshmallows as a topping if you like them.
